About me

Originally from AVL, now in Lemoore.  Working part time and going to school full time.  I am married with one kid.  I created this page back in High School as a Sophomore.  Back then it was just a bunch of crap, today it is not much different, ha-ha.

Served in the US Air Force right after High School.  I was seventeen and enlisted on Dec 7th 1999.  Stupid me, because I was in boot camp for the new millennium, and X-Mas.  I should have waited, oh well.  Served for little over four years.  I enjoyed it.

I started boot camp in Texas, stationed in Minot, AFB which was not really that bad, saw and did thing there that I would never have before.  Oh and they had Nukes there too, no screen shots from me.  Did not have a digital camera then.

After Minot, I went to a remote place, Thule AB, Greenland, which was really different.  The 24 hour daylight in the summer and 24 hours of darkness in winter was cool.  Sobers you right up when you leave the club at 3am from the one and only club on the base.  Ocean freezes over, and you can dog sleds from other villages who come to visit from nowhere.  Other than that, only plane and helicopter can you come and visit.  In the summer ships come by to unload cargo for the upcoming winter.

After the tour in Thule, came back to California, Edwards AFB.  So, went to a cold place ND, then to a colder place where I hanged out with Santa and had snowball fights with his elves in Greenland, then to the desert.

Here in Edwards, was another experience.  Dry lakebed, a 20+ mile GATE that seems forever, weird a$$ planes, zones, and areas of top secret, that the people get offended when you call them "Secret Squirrels".  Did not really have that much photos of Edwards, sorry, maybe cause at the time I was working there, I thought it sucked, but looking back I should have taken a snap shot of everything, like the so call, "The Rock," where they have some weird a$$ space plane looking thing, AREA 51 missing, has 50 then 52, miles of desert to who knows where.  There own security with sub-machine guns, where they don't want us near.  Um, Space Shuttle landing, Stealth Planes, the are where the movie Armageddon took place, the scene of the hanger and its a huge room with like spikes on the walls.  And in the movie, shows the vehicles they will be using.

Edwards also had this area, forgot the nickname, but had many underground tunnels, scary as phuck too, lights be buzzing like in the movies, hallways all trashed up like if it was Residents Evil.  Bunch of weird shht.  Makes me want to go back and take some photos.  I  never went to Iraq though, I am thankful for that, I think it is a waste of time.  Overall I enjoyed my experience and now I am in the struggle between deciding Nursing or Computer Information.  Right now I am in the program for Nursing, 1 year to go.  Sounds like a long ways, but it will go by fast.  Just hope I make it though.

Flash foward several years, and I am now working as an RN, so I made it. It was tough at times, but I had support, thanks to them and my sponsors. Still busy doing to many hobbies, and still not enough time for the page.

Originally page stated I had no kids, but I do have one now, it's a boy.  Another thing I do have now is a Facebook account, but I rarely go on. Maybe once a month to see other people updates. I don't update stupid shit like, "Oh, I am tired, few more hours to go." that is just looking for attention. I mainly update with my baby pics, cause he is to damn cute and funny, so I be sharing it. We all could use a good laugh.
